The war in Ukraine, and Medves

Almost exactly a year ago, Medves Hotel first provided safe, friendly and quality accommodation to refugees of the Russian-Ukrainian war that broke out in February 2022.luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.​

Over the past year, more than 1500 people, mostly from Transcarpathia, fleeing the war, got to know the family-style hospitality of Medves Hotel. The hotel's management decided, already in the first days after the outbreak of the war, to lend a helping hand to those in need, placing the focus on helping, somewhat pushing economic interests into the background. Based on the experience of the past year, this proved to be a good decision, since the facilities offered by the hotel and its surroundings eased the painful separation from home and the hardship for a great many refugees. Medves Hotel's management plans to continue helping to house refugees for as long as there is a need for it, thereby also contributing to the spirit of assistance that Hungary represents in connection with the Russian-Ukrainian war.
